How this ranking works

Everything the table draws on continues here: how firm the #1 is, the per-criterion arithmetic behind each score, who pays ChainChoice, and the full guide to choosing.

Direct answer

What is the best tokenised equities in 2026?

Superstate Opening Bell ranks #1 overall for tokenised equities on ChainChoice. The token is the issuer's own registered share, same CUSIP, recorded by an SEC-registered digital transfer agent (File No. 84-06972) alongside a named recordkeeping transfer agent — but the dividend and proxy mechanics live only in a counterparty's SEC exhibit, splits appear in no binding document, and every one of the five live names is a non-dividend-paying crypto-treasury company, so nothing has been tested. It holds that rank under an affiliate-blind methodology scored across 4 published, weighted criteria — the code that ranks providers physically cannot read affiliate payouts (CI-enforced), so a payout can't move a rank. The verdict re-computes on every fee change, incident, or regulatory action; full reasoning and the audit receipt are below.

Best picks

Best tokenised equities in 2026

Answer one question before any other: do you want to OWN the share, or do you want its PRICE? The pool splits cleanly and the table is segmented to match. In three products the token is genuinely the share, with a transfer agent or a register line behind it — and between them they offer eight tickers, none of which is Apple. The other five track a price through a certificate or a broker claim, cover thousands of tickers, and convey no ownership and no vote. Neither group is wrong; they answer different questions, which is why a rank is never printed across the two. Then read the corporate-actions column knowing it inverts: the products that document dividends best are the ones where you own nothing, because a wrapper has to define your entitlement in a contract while a real share can rely on company law and publish almost nothing.

Main tradeoff
You cannot buy the stocks you actually want. Opening Bell is issuer opt-in, and on 2026-08-19 the entire book is five crypto-treasury and crypto-operating companies — GLXY, SBET, FWDI, EXOD, HSDT — none of which pays a dividend. So the one thing this product is structurally best at, passing a real corporate action through to a real record holder, has never been exercised: the dividend clause with its ex-date, record date and per-share amount sits in an SEC exhibit waiting for a dividend that none of the five issuers pays. Meanwhile the closest thing to a secondary market is one Jupiter pool and one Kamino market on Solana, and the vendor's own terms warn 'There is limited to no public secondary market for these shares.'

INVESTOR SIDE, from the binding Terms of Service, §4 Fee Schedule, read on https://superstate.com/terms on 2026-08-19 — §4.1 Superstate Services Fees: 'Superstate Services does not charge you any fees for its provided services. If there are other fees being charged as part of your activity as detailed below or otherwise, you will be responsible for paying those fees. To the extent you do not pay the fees the requested action of activity will not fail and not occur.' §4.2 Tokenization Fees: 'To the extent you move your securities onchain, you will be responsible for paying network fees in the form of the native token in which the security is recorded. For instance if your equities are recorded on Solana Network and you choose to move your security to your digital wallet you will be responsible for paying the associated SOL to validate that transaction.' §4.3 Recordkeeping Transfer Agent & Brokerage Fees: 'You will be responsible for any fees charged by the Recordkeeping Transfer Agent and/or fees charged by the receiving broker-dealer. While Superstate Services will not charge for processing these requests, there might be fees charged by others involved in the processing.' ISSUER SIDE: the product page publishes only 'Lower cost of capital: Issuer pays a fixed, predictable administrative fee' with no rate (https://superstate.com/opening-bell) — but the rate IS published, in the executed contract filed as Exhibit 10.7 to Exodus Movement's 10-K on 2026-03-11: '3.1. Frequently asked
Questions people ask before choosing tokenised equities
Is the token the share, or something that tracks it?
Both exist here and they are marketed almost identically, which is why it is the heaviest axis on the page at 35%. In three of the eight products a real register line sits behind the token. In the other five you hold a certificate or a claim on a broker, and the share — if one exists at all — is owned by someone else. The table separates them into labelled segments rather than ranking them against each other, because ownership and price exposure are different products for different buyers.
Why do the products with the best dividend documentation score worst on ownership?
Because the two things have opposite causes, and noticing that is most of what this page is for. A wrapper has no legal default to fall back on, so it must define in a contract exactly what you get when a dividend is paid — which produces excellent documentation. A genuine share is governed by company law and the issuer's bylaws, so the vendor can publish very little and you are still entitled. Robinhood scores 8 on corporate-action documentation and 1 on whether you own a share; Securitize scores 10 and 2. Read the two columns together or you will draw exactly the wrong conclusion from either one.
Can a US person buy any of these?
One of the eight gives an affirmative yes, and that asymmetry is why this axis grades whether the answer is PLAIN AND CONSISTENT rather than whether it is favourable. A clear published no scores exactly as highly as a clear published yes — what is penalised is a vendor whose own documents disagree with each other, which is precisely the case for the product scoring lowest here: its sale contract lists the United States as an excluded jurisdiction while its developer documentation describes a US broker-dealer route.
