How is the order on a ranking decided?

Each category is scored against the criteria its methodology publishes, with the weight each criterion carries printed beside it. The order is computed from those scores before any commission data is joined, so no provider can pay to move up.

The methodology page lists every criterion, its weight and the evidence each score rests on.

Does a provider pay to be listed or ranked?

No. Providers with a live partner programme pay ChainChoice a commission when a reader signs up through a link that carries their referral code and the provider confirms it. Commission is not an input to any score or order. How we make money lists the programmes that pay one today.

How do I compare providers side by side?

On a ranking, tick the box at the start of up to three rows. They collect in the compare tray at the foot of the screen; choose Compare to open them side by side, criterion by criterion.

How do I save a decision and find it again?

On a ranking, use Save this ranking; on a provider’s page, Save; on a comparison, Save this comparison. At the end of a Find my best result, use Save in this browser. Either way it is kept in this browser, with no account or email, and listed under Saved.

Saved re-runs each decision against current data and tells you what has changed since you saved it, without changing what you saved.

When do you email me about a saved decision?

Only if you add an email address to a saved decision and confirm it. We re-run your scenario every Monday and email you only if the leader changes or its score moves by 5 points or more. Smaller drift stays silent.

Saved also lists recent alerts in this browser: a re-run that meets the same rule, and the published changes dated after you saved.

What does the weekly email contain, and how do I stop it?

Two weekly emails exist, and each goes only to an address that ticked its box and then clicked the confirmation link sent to it. The weekly issue lists what the published ledgers recorded that week: a new #1, prices that moved, providers placed or archived. The digest, offered when you save a decision, covers only the categories you saved, with the #1 in your country where it differs.

A digest reader who has not been back for 60 days gets one note asking whether to keep writing. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and no partner can buy a line in either.

Can I get an alert in my browser instead of an email?

On Saved, choose Alert me on this device and the categories you saved. When the published #1 of one of them changes, this browser shows one alert. Turning it off on Saved stops it at once.

The alerts need a sending key ChainChoice has not set up yet; until it is, the button says so and nothing is stored.

I run a ranked provider. Can I show the rank on my site?

Yes. Every provider page that holds a ranked place offers a badge, drawn on request from the published order: rank, out of how many, score and date. When the order moves, the badge moves with it, and a provider that leaves the ranking gets no badge.

The badge costs nothing, nothing about it is for sale, and showing it changes nothing in the order. Copy the snippet from the provider page; it links to the ranking it came from.

Can I change how a ranking is laid out?

Yes. Above every ranking, choose Table, Compact or Cards. Compact fits more rows on a screen; Cards gives each provider a card with every figure labelled. The choice is remembered in this browser, and no view leaves a column out.

How do I hide leverage products from my results?

On a ranking of perpetual futures, perp vaults, options vaults or prediction markets, choose Hide leverage products from my results. Their rankings, lists and verdict pages are then replaced by the setting, in this browser.

Showing them again takes 48 hours from when you ask, and the wait can be cancelled but not shortened. The same panel lists a free, confidential helpline for your country.

A page did not load or showed an error. What can I do?

Choose Try again, or reload the page. If the page says ChainChoice was updated while it was open, it loads the new version by itself; reload once if it does not.

Nothing you keep in this browser is lost when a page fails: saved decisions, your compare tray, the view you chose and your cookie choice stay as they were. A ranking that could not be loaded is not replaced by a guess; the page says it failed instead.

If the address came from a link and the page is not found, the page offers the closest pages and a search for the words in the address.

If it keeps failing, write to mathias@cryptopaymentfinder.com with the address of the page, what you did just before, and the browser you use.

How do I know a message or site is really ChainChoice?

ChainChoice lives at chainchoice.io. Every page is served there; www.chainchoice.io forwards to it. A look-alike address with another ending, an extra word or a swapped letter is not ChainChoice.

Newsletters and alerts from ChainChoice come from noreply@chainchoice.io, and only to an address that ticked a box for them and then confirmed the link sent to it. A reply to something you wrote to us comes from mathias@cryptopaymentfinder.com.

ChainChoice never asks for a recovery phrase, a private key or a password, never asks you to send funds or sign a transaction, and never holds anyone's money. It does not write to readers by direct message, phone, Telegram, WhatsApp or Discord. Anyone who does so in its name is not ChainChoice.

To report an impersonation, write to mathias@cryptopaymentfinder.com with the address, account or message, and when you saw it. If you sent funds or shared a recovery phrase, move what is left to a new wallet first, then report it to your country's scam route: every provider page lists it under If something goes wrong.

Is ChainChoice meant for children?

No. ChainChoice compares crypto-asset services that open accounts only for adults, and it carries no game, reward or advertising aimed at children.

Under the UK Children's Code, ChainChoice assessed on 2026-10-15 whether the site is likely to be accessed by children, and found it is not. The assessment is repeated every year, and again before the site adds a feature such as community posts or push messages.
