Starting path

Choose a DEX aggregator on security and trust, not just price.

DEX aggregators ranked on security & track record and trust-minimization — with routing model, chain reach and volume shown as facts, not scored.
category.dex_aggregator.promise Reviewed on security & track record (years live, audit depth, any exploit of the router itself) and trust-minimization (open-source verifiable routing, permissionless vs centralized settlement, MEV protection, governance) — permanent facts, sourced and dated. The routing model (pathfinding, batch-auction, RFQ, intent-solver), chain reach and volume are shown for context, not scored — which routing model is best depends on your trade, and volume measures adoption, not the trust facts we rank on.

Decision guide
What matters most before choosing in this category
The best DEX aggregator depends on what you weight. CoW Swap is the most trust-minimized (batch auctions, permissionless solvers, MEV protection by design, fully open-source, immutable settlement); 1inch is an extensively-audited pioneer with an immutable router and the deepest adoption; Matcha (0x) and KyberSwap route across many EVM chains; Jupiter is the default on Solana. We rank on the two universal quality signals — security & track record and trust-minimization (open routing, decentralized settlement, MEV protection, governance) — and show the routing model, chains and volume as context, because the best router depends on your trade and chain.
Key question
Do you want an immutable, extensively-audited router (1inch), or the most trust-minimized design (CoW Swap’s permissionless solvers)?
Key question
Which chain are you swapping on — most aggregators are EVM-only, while Jupiter is the default on Solana?
Key question
Do you need MEV / front-running protection (CoW Swap, 1inch Fusion, or RFQ aggregators like Bebop)?

Swap-first web3 app for users who want more routing depth without leaving the mainstream lane
Reviewed April 2026
A strong fit when the job is swapping through a more route-aware app while still staying inside a recognizable mainstream DeFi surface.
Best for
Users who want route-aware token execution with a stronger mainstream EVM app fit.
Main tradeoff
Users whose real app life is Solana-native or collectibles-led rather than swap-led.
Verify before signup
Verify supported networks, wallet compatibility, route assumptions, and token specifics before using it as a default app.

Frequently asked
Questions people ask before choosing dex aggregators
What is the safest DEX aggregator?
Safety comes from how long the router has run without an exploit, how deeply it is audited, and how trust-minimized it is — whether the routing is open-source and verifiable, whether settlement is permissionless (no single router to trust) or admin-controlled, and whether it protects your order from MEV. We score exactly those, and record every router-level exploit honestly (e.g. ParaSwap's 2024 Augustus v6 flaw) while distinguishing them from associated-AMM hacks or approval phishing. 1inch's immutable, extensively-audited router and CoW Swap's open, MEV-protected design lead here.
Did KyberSwap get hacked?
KyberSwap Elastic — a separate concentrated-liquidity AMM — was exploited for ~$48.7M in November 2023. The KyberSwap aggregator/router that this comparison ranks was not affected and has never lost user funds to a remote exploit. We record the Elastic hack honestly as an associated-product event, and score the aggregator on its own record — which is why we separate the two rather than tar the aggregator with the AMM’s incident.
Which routing model is best?
It depends on your trade. Direct pathfinding (1inch classic, Odos) splits across DEXs onchain; batch auctions (CoW Swap) clear many orders at once and remove ordering-based MEV; RFQ (Bebop, 0x) gets firm quotes from market makers, good for larger tickets; intent-solver models (1inch Fusion, ParaSwap Delta) have competing solvers fill your intent off the mempool. There is no single best model, so we show it as a fact rather than scoring it.
Why is CoW Swap ranked #1, not 1inch?
1inch has the deepest adoption and an immutable, extensively-audited router — a very close #2. But we rank on security & track record and trust-minimization, not volume, and CoW Swap edges ahead on trust-minimization: it is the only aggregator here that combines fully open-source routing, permissionless solver competition (no single router to trust), immutable settlement, and MEV protection by design, alongside deep audits. Both are excellent; the ranking is affiliate-blind and volume-blind, so being the biggest never moves a provider up.
