MiCA-Licensed Crypto Providers — Complete 2026 Directory
Every crypto-asset service provider in the ChainChoice catalog with its MiCA-status determination, supervising authority, and license jurisdiction. Each entry is cross- linked to its own verification page with full structured data and a content-addressed signed receipt. Updates trigger a new signed methodology revision; the registry is synchronised with ESMA's MiCA register and national CASP registers.
Which crypto providers are MiCA-licensed?
12 crypto-asset service providers in the ChainChoice catalog hold confirmed MiCA authorisation as of June 2026: Bitpanda, Bitvavo, Kraken, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Nexo, Bitstamp, OKX, BISON, Trade Republic (Crypto), Scalable Capital (Crypto), Anycoin Direct. An additional 7 operate under transitional national rules pending full MiCA authorisation, and 18 are outside MiCA scope (hardware wallets, tax software, decentralised protocols).
MiCA-Licensed Providers (12)
Crypto-asset service providers with confirmed MiCA authorisation under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114. Each can lawfully provide crypto-asset services to EU retail users across the full EU + EEA via passporting.
Transitional Status (7)
Operating under transitional national rules pending full MiCA authorisation. ChainChoice does not surface these providers for EU retail users by default until clear authorisation is in place under a single supervising authority.
Outside MiCA Scope (18)
Hardware wallets, tax software, and fully decentralised protocols are not crypto-asset service providers under MiCA and therefore do not require authorisation. Each entry below has its own verification page explaining why MiCA does not apply.
