Yes. Spain regulates crypto-asset service providers under MiCA (EU Regulation 2023/1114), enforced from 30 December 2024. CNMV oversees crypto cards operating in Spain; only providers authorised under MiCA may serve retail clients. Verify any provider against the official register at Bank of Spain virtual-asset register.
How is crypto taxed in Spain?
