PricingSnapshotCoinify "Trading Fees" page (https://www.coinify.com/trading-fees), fetched 28 September 2026, HTTP 200, unchanged from 18 August 2026. Handling fee: "BUY ORDERS Bank Transfer 1% Credit/Debit Card EEA *3.5% Credit/Debit Card 5%" with "* EU, NORWAY, ICELAND, LIECHTENSTEIN, SWITZERLAND"; sell side "Bank Transfer 1%". Conversion fee: "For all purchases done in currencies other than USD, a foreign exchange fee of 0.50% applies." Network fee: "A fee deducted from the purchased cryptocurrency amount." and "It depends on the Blockchain network’s current transaction volumes." Worked example (our arithmetic, not a Coinify figure): a EUR 200 purchase by SEPA bank transfer = 1 percent handling + 0.50 percent FX = EUR 3.00 plus the network fee; by EEA card = 3.5 percent + 0.50 percent = EUR 8.00 plus the network fee. The exchange-rate margin is not on this page: Coinify's help article 360013699059 says fees "are included in the exchange rate we offer you" without a number. Minimums are on help article 360013698319 (edited 13 December 2024), not on this page.No fee number is published. The entire fee disclosure is one FAQ answer on the Kotani Pay homepage (https://kotanipay.com/, fetched 29 September 2026, HTTP 200; the answer text ships in the page's script bundle): "Are there any fees associated with using Kotani Pay?" answered "Yes, we charge an on-ramp/off ramp free based on the product." [sic, "free" for "fee"]. The /on-off-ramp product page carries no numbers, and the docs On-Ramp guide that should carry them (https://docs.kotanipay.com/docs/kotani-pay-on-ramp, and its .md copy on kotani-pay.readme.io) still returns HTTP 404 on 29 September 2026 while the docs index still links it. Which should you pick?

Coinify

Leads
Pick it when
Pick Coinify if purchase cost matters most — it scores 8/10 to Kotani Pay's 1/10 there (weight 34).
Strength
All in purchase cost — 8/10
Tradeoff
The cheap rail is the unlocked one: pay by SEPA (1%) and you contractually accept 'the current available exchange rate at the time Coinify processes your trade' - up to 1-2 business days after you saw the 'indicative' quote - and if the trade cannot proceed, your refund comes back EUR20-30 lighter. The 15-minute rate lock exists only on the 3.5-5% card rail, and only in a help-centre article the Terms never echo.

Kotani Pay

41#16 of 16
Pick it when
Kotani Pay leads Coinify on no published criterion and no score dimension — pick it only if a fact outside the score (country, funding rail, custody) decides for you.
Strength
Licence identity — 4/10
Tradeoff
You cannot learn the price, the terms, or the delivery promise before committing: no fee number exists on any public page, the Terms and Conditions URL returns 404, and access itself requires booking a sales call — the licence is real, but everything a buyer would check before trusting money to the rail is unpublished.

Score dimensions

weights sum to 86

The published score is five dimensions, each weighted for the category. "Published criteria" is the criteria block above; the other four are the engine's own terms — availability, friction, trust record, measured data. Each bar is one side's points out of that dimension's maximum; the weight beside the name is its points of the 86-point weighted total. The published criteria above can fill 24 of the block’s 30. A weight marked “constant here” belongs to a dimension every ranked product in the category holds at the same value: it still counts in the total, and it orders nothing here.
