Review story
Why this provider still comes out on top
The short story
The universal charting platform used across crypto, equities, FX, and futures by roughly 70M traders. Pine Script strategies, 100+ indicators, alerts, and shareable charts. Crypto coverage spans 60+ exchanges with real-time data.
Why it works
Technical-analysis-first traders, multi-asset analysts holding crypto alongside stocks/FX, alert-driven traders managing many pairs, and Pine Script strategy builders.
When to step back
Users who only need basic price charts (every exchange app has those) or want fundamentals-first investing without TA.
Before you act
The few things worth checking before you trust this as your answer
Before you act
Verify the indicators-per-chart limit on your tier and that your target exchanges are supported on the data feed level.
What changed
Still the dominant charting platform; Pine Script ecosystem continues to grow.
Choose something else if
Choose exchange-native charts if you only need basic OHLC and order entry; choose 3Commas if you need automated execution from signals.
Trading tools are reviewed on whether you can show your risk committee the working behind a number (32%), which venues are inside it and whether you are told where it under-reports (26%), what the tier you can afford refuses to give you (24%), and whether you find out when the vendor changes the number you traded on last quarter (18%). Derivation leads because it decides whether a number can be defended to a risk committee: an analyst holding the raw feed must be able to recompute the series from a formula, or named inputs and their transformation, published on a page that loads without an account. Refresh rate and tick granularity are shown as facts, never scored.

Do I need a separate trading tool if my exchange has charts?
For casual buying, exchange-native charts are enough. Dedicated tools earn their subscription once you need multi-pair alerting, deeper technical analysis, or a single terminal across venues you already trade on — and the honest test is whether you would keep paying in a quiet month.
Are trading bots safe?
Trading bots execute the strategy you configure — they do not generate alpha. The main safety vectors are exchange API-key hygiene (always require 2FA, IP-allowlist the bot, and never grant withdrawal permissions) and the strategy itself.
What matters most when picking a trading tool?
The ranking weighs whether you can show your risk committee how a number was derived (32%), which venues are inside it and where it under-reports (26%), what the tier you can afford refuses to give you (24%), and whether you find out when last quarter's numbers are restated (18%), not headline feature count.

How we review
Recommendation logic is based on fit and tradeoffs before commercial value.
Provider conditions can change after review, so direct verification is still required.
Comparison remains available when the choice is close or context changes.
Referral relationships may exist for some providers, but they do not replace the review standard above. Provider links may include referral attribution when you choose to continue.
