Provider review
Independent provider review with recommendation context.
How this page is reviewed
Reviewed means this product in this category was read against its sources on or after that date; every ranked category is re-read at least every 45 days. Models research, extract and parse. A deterministic engine ranks. Every quote passes an adversarial refute pass.
Accountable for this review: Mathias Siemonsmeier, Founder.
What changed: Still the strongest wallet-intelligence platform for EVM and Solana; expanded chain coverage over the past 12 months.

Review story
Why this provider can still be the right call
The short story
Built its category by labelling the most successful on-chain wallets and surfacing where capital is actually moving — "Smart Money" tags on funds, MEV bots, deployers, and high-conviction trader wallets. Coverage spans Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BSC, and ~10 more chains.
Why it works
DeFi traders tracking smart-money wallets, EVM and Solana alpha hunters, researchers studying capital flows across DEXs, and token launch / airdrop hunters.
When to step back
Pure BTC/macro analysts (Glassnode covers that better) or users who want algorithmic execution (Nansen is intelligence, not bots).
Before you act
The few things worth checking before you trust this as your answer
Before you act
Smart Money labels are heuristics, not infallible — backtest conviction in your own context before sizing on them.
What changed
Still the strongest wallet-intelligence platform for EVM and Solana; expanded chain coverage over the past 12 months.
Choose something else if
Choose Glassnode for macro on-chain (BTC/ETH cycles, network state), or CryptoQuant for exchange-flow-led derivatives signals.
Trading tools are reviewed on whether you can show your risk committee the working behind a number (32%), which venues are inside it and whether you are told where it under-reports (26%), what the tier you can afford refuses to give you (24%), and whether you find out when the vendor changes the number you traded on last quarter (18%). Derivation leads because it decides whether a number can be defended to a risk committee: an analyst holding the raw feed must be able to recompute the series from a formula, or named inputs and their transformation, published on a page that loads without an account. Refresh rate and tick granularity are shown as facts, never scored.

Do I need a separate trading tool if my exchange has charts?
For casual buying, exchange-native charts are enough. Dedicated tools earn their subscription once you need multi-pair alerting, deeper technical analysis, or a single terminal across venues you already trade on — and the honest test is whether you would keep paying in a quiet month.
Are trading bots safe?
Trading bots execute the strategy you configure — they do not generate alpha. The main safety vectors are exchange API-key hygiene (always require 2FA, IP-allowlist the bot, and never grant withdrawal permissions) and the strategy itself.
What matters most when picking a trading tool?
The ranking weighs whether you can show your risk committee how a number was derived (32%), which venues are inside it and where it under-reports (26%), what the tier you can afford refuses to give you (24%), and whether you find out when last quarter's numbers are restated (18%), not headline feature count.

How we review
Recommendation logic is based on fit and tradeoffs before commercial value.
Provider conditions can change after review, so direct verification is still required.
Comparison remains available when the choice is close or context changes.
Referral relationships may exist for some providers, but they do not replace the review standard above. Provider links may include referral attribution when you choose to continue.
