- The advertised $2/100,000 is a floor, not the price. The publishing doc says indexers pick subgraphs by curation signal and recommends you curate your own with "at least 3,000 GRT"; without it you may be served only by the Edge & Node Upgrade Indexer, which the docs explicitly say "does not permanently index Subgraphs."
- Not found on the publishing doc (which now lives at thegraph.com/docs/en/subgraphs/developing/deploying-publishing/publishing-a-subgraph/). The caveat's 'without it you may be served only by the Upgrade Indexer' is defensible; 'unlikely to be picked up' is not, and must not ship as a quotation.
- Both quotes are real and verbatim ('The Upgrade Indexer is a specialized Indexer operated by Edge & Node'; under 'What it does not do': 'Does not permanently index Subgraphs. Subgraph owners should curate Subgraphs to use independent Indexers long term') — but they are on thegraph.com/docs/en/subgraphs/providers/subgraph-studio/upgrade-indexer/, not the pages cited, and that earlier reading omitted the scoping qualifier. The same doc says it 'Functions as the sole supporting Indexer for each chain until indexing rewards are activated' and 'supports newly deployed Subgraphs before the full Chain Integration Process (CIP) Indexing rewards are activated'. The sole-indexer condition is scoped to newly integrated chains and pre-rewards subgraphs, not to every uncurated subgraph in perpetuity.
