- BOTH KINDS ARE PRESENT, AND THEY CONTRADICT EACH OTHER — this is a genuine MARKET RESTRICTION, not merely the standard OFAC/sanctions representation. streamflow.finance/terms-of-use (read 17 August 2026, 'Last updated: 3 August 2026'), clause 5.1, lists four buckets. Buckets (ii) and (iii) are the ordinary sanctions boilerplate: 'FATF-Listed Jurisdictions' and 'Sanctioned Jurisdictions (including but not limited to Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and certain regions in Ukraine such as Donetsk and Luhansk)'. Buckets (i) and (iv) are NOT boilerplate: '(i) The People's Republic of China (encompassing all areas under its jurisdiction)' and '(iv) Restricted Jurisdictions where decentralized finance applications are prohibited or heavily regulated (including but not limited to Venezuela, Iraq, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, Mali, Nicaragua, the United Kingdom and Russia).' A UK-domiciled foundation is excluded by name. The US is handled separately and PARTIALLY: '(v) Partially Restricted Jurisdictions. Notwithstanding paragraph (iv) above, users located in or ordinarily resident in the United States of America ("US Users") may access the Platform and certain Services, subject to the feature-specific restrictions set out in Section 5.8 below.' Section 5.8 restricts US Users only from '(i) Staking Services' and '(ii) Stablecoin-Denominated Payouts' — AIRDROPS ARE NOT LISTED, so per the binding Terms a US budget-holder may run one, with the caveat at 5.10: 'Streamflow makes no representation that any feature of the Platform not listed in Section 5.8 is compliant with US federal or state law'. Enforcement is asserted: 5.7 'Streamflow reserves the right to enforce these restrictions through measures such as geo-fencing technology.' THE CONTRADICTION: the help centre article docs.streamflow.finance/en/articles/9675170-restricted-countries-and-regions (read 17 August 2026, dated 24 February 2026 — i.e. superseded by the 3 August 2026 Terms) puts the US in the flat restricted list ('...Nicaragua, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America') and then states 'Individuals who are residents of or currently located in any of the aforementioned countries and regions are prohibited from using Streamflow.' A US buyer reading the help centre concludes they are banned; the same buyer reading the Terms concludes they are permitted for airdrops. The regions list above therefore records broad availability, but 'us' is conditional and 'europe'/'asia' exclude the UK and China respectively.
