- Regulated footprint, not a residency list: Jersey (JFSC fund services business, vendor-stated), UK (FCA MLR registration only), Italy (OAM registration, now stated only in the Terms of Use — 'Komainu is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) , and Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) , and is registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Italian OAM.' — and no longer listed on the regulation page as of 29 September 2026), Dubai (VARA). The VARA register carries a TRUE market restriction for Dubai: 'Permitted to serve Institutional Investors and Qualified Investors.' — a licence-conditioned eligibility rule, retail excluded (re-read on the register 19 August 2026). The regulation page claims 'Today, we serve our global client base, operating through multiple regulated and licensed entities.' — a marketing reach claim, not an availability list.
