Record watch-outs
- That the 4% is not the deduction that hurts — the account is. A BTC miner cannot mine anonymously at F2Pool ("At the moment, f2pool supports SC for anonymous mining"), so he delivers hashrate first and then holds an unsecured claim against a British Virgin Islands shell, Fram Farm Inc., under terms he never sees a fee in. The coinbase proves it: across all 10 F2Pool blocks in heights 963065–963184 the entire generation transaction pays one address, 1AfCc4F9c4VTYSE31PUe2kUEKs6ZxiDjxm, and never the miner. Between earning and being paid, F2Pool may "freeze all or part of the F2Pool Account", may thaw it or not "in our sole discretion" with "approval of a Thawing Application ... not guaranteed", and may condition release on producing "an ID card or passport" — a KYC gate that only ever bites after the electricity has been burned. And the 0.005 BTC default threshold is a delay, not a number: at the 127.48 T difficulty F2Pool displayed on 2026-08-19 and its own 0.0000004967 BTC/TH/day estimate, a single 200 TH/s machine waits about 52 days for its first automatic payout and a 1 TH/s hobbyist about 28.7 years; the sub-threshold escape requires switching the miner OFF for 24 hours and is allowed once every 30 days. The second thing a miner would resent is discovering he is a supplier to a business he was never told about: F2Pool sells inclusion in the blocks his hashrate secures, taking USDT, USDC and ETH through its own Transaction Accelerator with "no limit on the transaction volume or fees", and nowhere on 555 help articles or in the Terms does it say whether one satoshi of that reaches him.
