Two things decide whether a hardware wallet deserves trust and a buyer cannot check either alone: whether the chip guarding the key is certified, and whether the firmware it runs is the code anyone can read. Both are now graded from public registries and signed build records. The owner approved the four ladders, the weights, the grading unit and every listed policy on 2026-10-01, and ruled the same day that firmware installed as a signed file by an open-source tool, with no live maker server, is not a dependency on the maker.",
